A car dealership sold my neice a car and used my credit

Customer Question

a car dealership sold my neice a car and used my credit without my permission or using my income to get it. I am a double transplant survivor and a BKA amputee on disability. I bring in $707 per month, the car payment is $445 per month. Now my neice has stopped making the payments and the Credit Union is after me. Is there anything I can do? The Dealership lied to the Credit Union to obtain the loan.

Thank you for using JustAnswer.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. So to be clear, you never signed anything? Who signed your name on the application? Was it your niece or the dealership? Did you file a police report?
