I recently requested a seller to cancel a buyout contract

Customer Question

I recently requested a seller to cancel a buyout contract with me -- or have seller undo a contract which I signed in their office -- for a 2015 car, which I had originally leased from seller. This was within the 30 day grace period from time of signing contract. In other words I changed my mind about the buyout and chose to have seller undo the buyout and reinstate the original lease arrangement. [The buyout paperwork was sent to seller's bank for processing.) My written request was mailed to seller via US certified mail. Am I within my rights to request this "undo buyout" contact?

Good morning. Just to be clear, the contract which you signed allowed you to do this within 30 days?
