Cancelled the surgery, never signed any consent forms, lab

Customer Question

Cancelled the surgery, never signed any consent forms, lab work forms and now the doctor wants to charge me for 100% of the surgery costs/fees plus other "cancellation fees". Is this even right?

Hello, and welcome. I am a licensed attorney and happy to assist.

No, this does not sound right. For what date was the surgery scheduled, and what date did you cancel?

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
It was for June 24th. I cancelled and left a message (they never responded back) on June 6th.
