I own a dodge charger 2010, purchased in 2015 at Southern Maine Motors

Customer Question

I own a dodge charger 2010, purchased in 2015 at Southern Maine Motors in Saco. I've paid the vehicle off and they've insisted I renew the warranty for engine failure. I haven't done so.
After doing some research I've learned this make, year & model right around 67,000 miles needs a new engine or a transmission. I bought the car and it had 45,000 (give or take) a few miles and this problem was never disclosed.
The car now has 65,737 miles and I'm concerned.
Could you please advise?
Thank you,
Sharon A. Bickford

Good afternoon. I am Loren, a licensed attorney, and I look forward to assisting you.I am not sure I understand your question. Are you asking if there is a "lemon law" for used cars?
