I red a cabinet maker kitchen who professed to be a "custom"

Customer Question

I hired a cabinet maker for my kitchen who professed to be a "custom" cabinet maker. We discussed at length the staining of the solid wood cabinets and the fact that they would be "gassed out" prior to being installed in my home. In addition, he saw a custom ceiling to floor piece I had, so he knew the quality I was looking for. well...what I ended up with were cabinets with cut and glued pieces of banding all over the fronts and insides. I discovered this by accident and when I asked him about this, he said " you could not have afforded solid wood". What's my recourse?!?
