Customer Question

florida law. I gave an agent with whom I have done transactions in the past a $2k check made out to him but for deposit on a house. the deal fell through because the bank didn't approve the short sale and sold to someone else. The agent has disappeared
and won't give me back the money. Can I sue the Broker under whose license the agent worked?

Yes, the broker holding the license is liable for the malpractice of its agent. You can sue the broker.
