Customer Question

I have 3 very old credit card debts from 11/2009 one was for 12k and another for 2k id like to iffer them a small amount to just have them remove it off my credit rather than waiting another year but i dont want to admit to it or restart the debt clock
again whats the best way to see if they will take a couple hundred dollars to remove it since they will have to anyways for no money in a year i live in florida btw

are you asking if you can offer such a payment plan?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Well id like to offer them $200 to "make it go away" im not admitting its my debt but ive disputed it several times and i want it to go away and they can either accept the $200 or wait another 12 months and it will be deleted legallybfrom my credit report

You can do so based on disputing the debt, old debt, financial hardship.

typically such debts settle around 40-60 cents on the dollar but it can vary

the older the debt, the weaker the back up, the stronger the case for you.

Ok but just to be clear if i write a letter saying this is not my debt i still dispute it but id like to offer $200 for it to go away since my other attempts at debt validation have failed and i just want it gone they can not reinstate the debt or come after me for saying that in writing or start the 7 year debt clock again
Expert:  Infolawyer replied 1 year ago.

you are not admitting debt, and you want to have a settlement in writing before you pay anything.

making a partial payment without an agreement would start the clock on the sol otherwise.

Kindly let me know if the answer is acceptable and clear.
