How can I get out of a verbal agreement to a security company

Customer Question

How can I get out of a verbal agreement to a security company for not raising monthly bill, if I am not satisfied with their services. I have written two letters of cancelation, but they want me to pay $900. To pay out contract. Services had already been suspended. On their agreement it said to write letter. Now they want money also.

Hello, send a letter giving reasons for cancellation. Poor performances would be grounds and a breach by the company.
You may escalate and threaten to do so. You have a few options. Let me outline them. You can pursue a complaint in civil court. You may sue for losses suffered plus costs and interest. You can also file a complaint with the attorney general office. You can threaten these options before pursuing and use for leverage. local counsel can also get involved!
martindale.com and findlaw.com are both excellent lookup directories. Both highly rated. Both used by lawyers. Easy to search and find local options. Good luck. Kindly rate the answer OK or higher.
