What is the Idaho Law about cancelling a purchase and returning item in perfect condition before three days. Is a company obligated to refund purchase price?
Optional Information: State/Country relating to question: Idaho Already Tried: We took a new car back to the company and tried to have them cancell the purchase agreement and return our cash and old car. They were less than nice.
Hello,There is no 3 day right of rescission of new car purchases in Idaho. The 3 day right of rescission is actually a Federal law and it only applies to "door to door" sales and mortgage refinancing agreements. There is no right to cancel a new car purchase unless it is allowed under the terms of the contract you signed, or unless the dealer violated a law.
