I have had dealings with Prosper, Inc and HSBC where loans were taken out without my permission for prof enrichment courses. They say they are 2 different organizations but they are not, judging by the Learning advantage website where they say they do their financing. There is no mention of finncing on this website or any form of money; it is simply anothe add for Prospe. HSBC stated that they did an investigation of wheter I owed the money (6,000) and sent me a very thick pile of papers which are signed contacts-but not signed by me. How can I get out of this loan because their guarentee wasd not met. Also, how can I protect myself and my family so I will not be spurrilously signed up and charged for courses I didn't request. They have done various things, such as deleting my account and then reopening it as if I had been receiving statemets (the account was opened at the end of November and I had a 6 month delay). Also, they are stating that they are not the same as HSBC, yet the bills do not come from HSBC, they come from Learning Advantage, which is ipso facto the same as Prosper. I never agreed to pay any amount of money. And they have not provided a shred of evidence that I have. All they've tried to do is trick me.
