Seals in the track adjuster cylinder are blown, Will need the cylinder resealed.

How do u get to the adjuster,it's uncased by a thick metal cover?

Has to come out the end. It is a cylinder, and has to be unpinned from both ends and slid out. I don't have access to a parts book on the IH dozers.
