What is happening? The hydraulic system should not require bleeding. It is elf bleeding, just by cycling the cylinders a few times to clear any air. Same for the drive system!

we have put new seals in the control arm that operates the 3 in one bucket
and it seems to be a times a bit slow in responding
as if the is air in the lines

All that s required is to cycle the cylinder a few times to let any trapped oil return to the tank. Slow movement can be a restricted line or fitting, anywhere from the control valve, to the cylinder hoses and back to the control valve. Did the old cylinder come apart? Seals damaged? If so, pieces from the old seal may be plugging an orifice.
