Actually the C15 engine did not have an oil temp sensor. The oil temp reading is calculated by the engine ECM directly from the coolant temp and engine load.
I assume your oil temp gauge is reading high or off? Correct?
If so, the cause is most likely a faulty gauge. I see this quite often.
