WE HAVE A CAT 236B SKID STEER W/MITSUBITCHE TURBO ENGINE.

Customer Question

WE HAVE A CAT 236B SKID STEER W/MITSUBITCHE TURBO ENGINE. WILL START AND RUN AS LONG AS THE SWITCH IS TURNED TO START POSITION. AS SOON AS SWITCH IS RELEASED IT DIES. I THINK THE FULE CUTOFF SOLENOID IS LOCATED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PUMP AND TO THE REAR. A PAIN TO GET TO. I THINK THERE SHOULD BE VOLTAGE ON ONLY ONE WIRE WHEN SWITCH IS CUT ON AND VOLTAVE TO ANOTHER WIRE WHEN TURNED TO START POSITION. 3 WIRES COMING OFF THE FULE CUT OFF SOLENOID. WE DONT READ ANY VOLTAGE AT ANY POINT.WE HAVE REPLACED THE KEY SWITCH WITH NO LUCK. COULD THE PROBLEM BE WITH THE RELAY OR THE CUT OFF SOLENOID? NO BOOK ON THIS TRACTOR, HOW DO WE IDENTFY THE RELAY, AND IS THE SOLENOID REPLACABLE
