I HAVE A 1980 YEAR MODEL HSP 25 FMC LINKBELT.
THE BOOM LIFT CYLINDERS WILL NOT ALLOW THE BOOM TO COME DOWN.
WHEN WE ADJUST THE BOOM HOLDING BLOCK CARTRAGES IT WILL WORK FOR A
SHORT TIME THEN SEEMS TO COME OUT OF ADJUSTMENT AND NOT COME DOWN AGAIN.
IS THERE AN ADJUSTMENT PROCEEDURE FOR THIS? MY DEALER TOLD ME NO AND THAT I NEEDED TO ORDER NEW BLOCK AND CARTRAGES.

Hi my name is***** will be glad to help. Are the cartridges scored badly? Try disassembling the cartridges and cleaning/polishing the poppets with crocus cloth and make sure they are not sticking in the bores and the springs are not broken. Reassemble with new seals and backup rings. If unsuccessful then yes the valve block will need to be replaced. Let me know
