Customer Question

The anti-stall device on my Perkins 4.108 is mounted to an aluminum plug which inserts into the top of the fuel injection pump. How can I attach this to the pump -- no threads, just a smooth walled plug with a single groove machined into it. What adhesive?

Hi Ralph, my name is ***** ***** you for your question.
Sorry for delay.
The problem with red epoxy is when it gets hot it will thin out again,, that is how to easily remove something that is lock tited in,, we heat end of bolt and once loose it spins easily.
Can you tap hole and use a heli coil or king sert?
Or do you still need to maintain the groove inside hole?
Can you upload a pic of device and hole it is mounted to?
Or a few pics to give me a better idea of what you need to accomplish.
Let me know we can find something
