I have a 1970 D6 which will not go into gear. I need to move it. how do remove the axle of what do I need to do so I can pull the machine to another spot?

Hello,You do not remove anything to pull these old machines.

The parking brake is a manual lock on the brake pedals.

If the pedals are moving the linkages on each brake housing, the brake is not locked.Lift out the seat bottom cushion to see the linkage.If it still will not move and has not been moved in many years, the track rails are likely seized.
