Trying to adjust valve clearance on 310 B backhoe. Where are the set screws? I see the hex nut.

The nut is the adjusting bolt. It is a self locking bolt and should stay where you set it. If the bolt gets where it does not hold the adjustment, the rocker assembly with new bolt is required!
