I Have a case 480LL that will not turn over, we checked everything out and its not the battery or that kind of thing. I tried jumping off the starter and it will turn over but will not start. I think that it is a saftyswitch on the shutle transmission but do not know it is or how to replace it. Can you help ?
Already Tried: replaced battery , cables, starter,ect , still no luck
The neutral switch is in the right side of the shuttle unit, on the end of the control shaft. The opposite end has the clutch cutout solenoid.
There is a neutral relay conversion kit that is sold to replace the existing relay under the dash.
The neutral switch is just a two wire switch, screwed into the end of the housing. It can be bypassed by putting the two wires together.
