Customer Question

Run a 615C Scraper. the Air pressure is not building up. usually builds up to 70 psi. We have tried to open the compressor air tanks, run engine for 5 mins and then close them to to see if that would help. No luck. What else should we try?

Hi i'm Wayne
I will help you with this
Good Afternoon,
OK, Let see if the Compressor went bad or the Governor

Start with removing the big air line from compressor
start and run engine at 700 RPM, you should not be able to hold back air pressure coming out of it with your thumb
If you can Compressor needs replacing
If you can't , then the Governor is bad and replace that
it is usually mounted on compressor, round cylinder shape, about 5"x 2" round
