I am working on project that is modifying a Komatsu PC300 excavator and we are using the existing Komatsu hydraulic pumps to supply hydraulic flow for hydraulic system that we have installed. We have connected our system to the hydraulic pump outlets and we are returning the oil through cooler & filter that we have added as well. We have also added a load sense line to the existing load sense port and isolated the two hydraulic circuits with a shuttle valve. When we operate the system the highest pressure that I am able to achieve on the load sense line is about 1200 PSI, the system should operate to 3500 PSI. My basic question is; what do I need to do if anything in order to make sure the Komatsu pumps stroke and provide flow up to full system pressure? My initial though is that I need to energize the Merger Divide valve solenoid, according to the schematic I have the valve needs to be energized in order to vent the Load Sense control valve at the pump. But I don't know what energizes the valve now when operating the komatsu system, which is operating normally. If you have any insight on what needs to be done in order to operate a addon hydraulic system to the Komatsu excavator I would much appreciate it. ThanksXXXXX XXXXXLogical Control Concepts
Optional Information: Make: Komatsu Model: PC300 Already Tried: Have only identified the problem and now looking for a fix.
