I have an HP-1 trouble code on my 7753 Bobcat skid steer so I'm in shut down mode. What would most likely cause this condition? This started yesterday with a HP-2 code. After consulting some hydraulic mechanics they told me to try changing the hydraulic oil filter, I did and the machine ran fine for about an hour no codes. Then gave trouble code HP-2 and and switched to HP-1 shut down mode. Makes it difficult to take for repair when it won't operate.
Already Tried: changed hydraulic filter, all fluids were drained and replaced last fall along with all filters. and wasn't used all winter
This is the same as the New Holland and Deere skid-steer do. On them this is the hydro=static pressure switch giving a false reading. It can be called hydro-static pressure switch, or just hydraulic pressure switch, but it is likely your problem. It sends signal and then shuts down the engine.

Would that be the charge pressure sender that is the closest thing i can find in the service manual for hydraulic pressure switch. And if so would you have any idea where that would be?
Yes , that sounds like the switch. Typically they are mounted at the hydraulic filter.
if i unplug the wiring would that clear the the HP-1 code on the machine so i would be to load it on trailer

I doubt unplugging will do it, you could try. Better may be to unhook the battery for few seconds and let system reset. Might get enough time to get loaded.
Ok Curtis ,I wll try that the first thing in morning.
Ok, let me know how it works out. Thank you.
Curtis I tried disconnecting battery for 5 minutes and then reconnecting but that didn't reset the Alarm and allow me to load unit on trailer. Any other suggestions?
Buy the switch and replace it.
