I have an apple i phone and it won't accept my current gmail account password ***** I changed the password. Every time I try to use my phone Password ***** comes up on the screen and the phone won't accept my password
JA: How long have you had this issue with your Gmail account?
Customer: over 6 months. My password ***** google works on my Imac and my Macbook pro and my mini ipad but refuses to work on my iphone..should I just get a new i phone? I went to KOODO my phone provider and they could not fix the problem
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no that is my only problem

You will need to delete then re-add the gmail account. Follow these steps please>

From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > Mail > Accounts.

  1. From the Accounts section, tap an email account.
  2. Tap Delete Account.
  3. To confirm, tap Delete from My iPhone.
  1. From the Home screen, navigate: Settings > Mail > Accounts.
  2. Tap Add Account.
  3. Select the account type
    If selecting iCloud, refer to Add an iCloud Email Account.
    If selecting Other, refer to Manually Add a Personal (POP/IMAP) Account.
  4. Enter the account info (e.g., Name, Email, Password, etc.) then, if applicable, tap Next (located in the upper-right).
    Depending on the account type the options may vary.
  5. Configure the sync options (e.g., Mail, Contacts, etc.) as desired.
    Tap the switch to turn on or off .
  6. Tap Save (located in the upper-right).

I did all that and the phone still says CANNOT GET Mail
