Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

When you click on the triangular Google Drive logo or link, what happens, please?

And, what web browser are you using for this purpose? Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc. ?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
It sends us to a blank page w titel about:blankAcer model VHN that has no harddrive and is connected to google via the cloud.I am a dad typing for my daughter who got the acer as an xmas present...

We think this is an account or connection issue. Was she supposed to update account or connect acer chrome book in some way?
Expert:  Russell H. replied 1 month ago.

Try this, or have her try this:

Log out of the Google account.

Then close all the browser windows.

Then restart the computer.

Then do a Disk Cleanup, and remove both Temporary Internet Files, and the Temporary Files also.

Then, after that, open the browser, log in to the Google account, and try to access Google Drive again. If it doesn't work, go to

Help - About XXXX XXXXX

and tell me the version of the browser (and what browser program it is) please.

Or tell me if it works OK, so that I can close the case. Thanks.

This is a chrome book - there is no hard drive!
Expert:  Russell H. replied 1 month ago.

OK. Then do everything except the step about Disk Cleanup, which only applies to Windows computers of course.

Tried it with no success.
Expert:  Russell H. replied 1 month ago.

Then I'm sorry - if it's a Chromebook, I'm not sure what's wrong.

Try checking whether JavaScript is enabled in the Chrome browser's settings... without JavaScript enabled, it may not work with Google Drive.
