1. Disconnect AC power and shut down your laptop2. Remove battery (if you can)3. Connect AC power4. Start the laptop5. Open "Device Manager" (right-click on "Computer" > Properties -> click "Device Manager" in left pane)6. Under "Batteries", right-click and uninstall "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery"7. Shutdown8. Disconnect AC power, insert battery9. Connect AC power, start laptop

Please uninstall "Lenovo Energy Management" application and restart the laptop after the restart check the batter status if you still have the same error massage, please use the below link to download and install the latest update of this application :

Right click on Start, click search and type Windows Defender, Right-click "Windows Defender", select "Run as administrator". Click on "tools" icon at the top of the window, then click on "Software Explorer".
Click on "Show for all users" at the lower left corner. In the "Category" list, select "Startup Programs". Select "Lenovo Battery Management Software" on the left panel. At the bottom of the right panel, click on "Remove" button.
First lauch setup.exe from C:\swtools\readyapps\pwrmgrv directory
If you still can't uninstall it please right-click on start, in the search box type cmd a black box will be open and type :
c:\swtools\readyapps\pwrmgrv\setup.exe -l0x9 -AddRemove (hit enter)
