I have a microsoft surface notebook, and I cant get the screen to come on. The unit is charged fully, the keyboard lights up but no screen.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact model of your computer? And what operating system are you running?
Customer: Its the attached keyboard version called the notebook, i dont know the operating system, i bought it new about 6 months ago.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?

Can you hold the power button in and then insert and remove the power cable (while connected to power) quickly up to 10 times then release the power

Tell me if at all it comes on during this please.

It is the invertor for the screen that has faulted and will need to be replaced
