Customer Question

Bought a new Lenovo 24" AIO Ideacentre.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact model of your Lenovo? And what operating system are you running?
Customer: AIO 70024ISH and Windows 10 (unfortunately)
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: There was a windows update last Fri or Sat. An on-line-lenovo-tech did some remote installations of new drivers last week, which fixed a HW problem, but we didn't have time to fix the remaining problems.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: 2 problems - very slow at startup, won't always come out of 'sleep', and some of the display windows and tool bars are 'icon' size and unreadable. I think I have a 'display scaling' problem. (an on-line tech was supposed to call this morning about those problems - but didn't).

Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist. If you're having that many

problems with the computer out-of-the-box I'd do a factory reset on the computer. That should put things

back to the way they were designed to run.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Does the factory reset also remove programs that I've installed?
Expert:  Byron replied 3 months ago.

It does. Those would need to be re-installed (ignore the pop-up, it's automated)

I thinking with this 'lemon-out-of-the-box' it may save everybody some trouble, and return it. Maybe there's a Dell in my future - I don't blame Lenovo HW as much as I blame the Microsoft and driver SW.
Expert:  Byron replied 3 months ago.

That's an option. I'm actually using a 23-inch Inspiron 5348 that I've had trouble-free for just under a year now.

Thanks for your inputs - let's call it a day.
