mouse mouse is not working correctly. it goes where it wants and high lights things at random
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: Asus T300L PC dock
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: yes. windows updated on its own and then all the troubles started. I HATE THAT when windows does that. Almost every time it does that, something goes wrong.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?

We have never tried another mouse.

ok, can you connect one as a test and tell me what then happens please?

The dock does not have a port to use a wired or wireless mouse. The removable screen does but that would disconnect from the mouse on the dock.

Ok. I connected 2 seperate wireless mouse units to the monitor/computer section and they are not working either.

ok, I want to do a system restore please.

To do this, close all programs.

Press the windows key + X and click on Control Panel

click System and Security

Then click on System

Then System Protection

Then System restore

Choose a date before this problem occurred.

Let it complete and tell me if it now functions correctly please

Do you have any data you need to keep on the Tablet or everything is backed up?

I would have to check. It is a computer Used in my office. It has wireless connections, etc. that were set up by our IT guy.
