After having a hard disc replaced, I found that the keyboard

Customer Question

After having a hard disc replaced, I found that the keyboard had changed from English to French. I can changeit back to English by pressing the shift key and Alt simultaneously. This can, however, cause problems when I am typing in a password ***** only registers in dots. I s there any way in which this can be made English only? If not, would it be English only if I replaced the keyboard?
JA: What's the make and model of your computer? And have you had problems with this keyboard in the past?
Customer: EX110 Logitech. No, this began about seven months ago when the technician replaced the hard disc.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, thank you.

Hi,
I'm sorry about the issue. Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10?
Have you gone to Control Panel, and added the English keyboard option, and remove the French keyboard option?
