JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No.

Try these steps please>

  1. On the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key down while you select Power > Restart (in the lower-right corner of the screen).
  2. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options >
  3. After your PC restarts, select a startup setting from the list of options by pressing the corresponding number on your keyboard.
  4. Select Restart now.
  5. At the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot.
  6. Select Factory Image Restore.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process. This will take some time and your computer will restart.
