Please understand that it was not a person but their email system that has blocked you out for security purposes. It is likely that even though you changed your password ***** someone may have linked information in your account that allowed them access back into it. Also, the other person could be trying to force their way into your account and it is causing the account to lock out. For example, if I really wanted to be a pain, I could try to sign into your account 5-10 times in a row with a wrong password ***** it will force your account to be frozen.
With that being said, are you still able to reset your account password ***** your wife's account?
Unfortunately, you will have to repeat that process to gain access to your account again. Once you have access to your account again, I can look at the settings to see if there are any issues.
