Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer?
You shouldn't need the disk to reinstall. If it is plugged in via usb, just unplug the USB cable from the computer after you uninstall it, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in. When you do that, it should work. Please, do that and update me.
