Customer: I keep getting reminders that my cover is out of date, yet when I check I find I have 590 days left. My licence # is 77BF92E3CC84486D94150662FC9D, could look into this and advise.

I'm sorry but I do not allow remote connections (been burnt before), I'm accessing the web via an ASUS lap top.

Press WinKey+R to bring up a Run box

Inside the Run box, type msconfig then hit Enter

Click onto the Startup tab and review all the boxes that are ticked.

Find the program that's giving you that error message and untick it as you don't need it on startup.

I had normal startup selected, when I changed to selective startup, load system services & load startup items were ticked but use original boot config was not.

You don't need to tick selective or normal startup - if you did, click cancel then go back into that.

You need to click on the Startup Tab so the list of startup items comes up

Ok, check under the Startup tab for anything that has to do with Kaspersky and untick it, then click OK and restart the computer.

Let's use this as a way to isolate the problem.

Also if you could, before you restart, write down all the entries you see and unticked so I know what you did.

We could get this going much faster via a remote session if you change your mind on that but for now let's proceed with that.
