Hi, I'm Nathan.Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this but I'll do my best to help you.
What exactly is connected to your tv? A cable box?
Is there a cable box connected to the tv?
You may be seeing an optional and automated ad by the site for a call or remote offer, that is optional and we can continue here, but I need specific details from you here to proceed.
Okay so the cable for computer is unrelated to this then.
What is the make/model of the tv?What are you seeing on the tv currently? Snow? blue screen? A "no signal" message?
The tv issue is not related to your cable connection.
Look at the back of the tv - where exactly is the cord that is connected to the directv box connected there? hdmi1? hdmi2?
That is exactly what I was getting at, either a loose/missing cord, or the tv set to the wrong input.
Then you are on the wrong input,
so where did you plug it in? If hdmi2, for example, then take the tv remote and press the source/input/video button, repeatedly until you get to hdmi2 (or wherever plugged into)
Yes you may get back to me later if needed, just bookmark/favorite this page, or leave it open and reply back when ready to continue.
