Getting No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed error. won't repair with windows disk. removed and reset sata cables.. same error

The disk has failed and will need to be replaced.

You can fit any similar equivalent disk.

I have 3 drives and no idea which drive it is. I have read many forums and it's not always the case of a disk failure. Could be a BIOS issue or a virus. Looking for ideas to try before replacing drives.

Those causes are very unlikely however to rule them out you will need to test the drive(s) on a different computer.
