Customer Question

Hello there,
I have a Huawei Y625 smartphone running on Android. It crashed and froze, so there was no choiche than switching it off. The problem is, that it doesn't boot again. It's always stuck on the boot screen with the Huawei logo. I tried to enter Recovery Mode but it stays on the boot screen and never changes.
Is there any chance for a different solution?

Please Backup all your data (Photos, Videos, Documents ect....) and do a Hard reset :

  • First turn off the cell phone.
  • Then hold and press Volume Up + Power button for 10 of seconds.
  • Release held keys when the Huawei Logo appears on the screen.
  • Select using Volume buttons option "wipe data/factory reset", and confirm that with Power button.
  • Choose "yes" from the menu, and accept it with Power key.
  • Now choose option "reboot system now" by using Power button.

Thanks for the reply. As I mentioned, I can't get past the Huawei Logo. I held the buttons for 60 seconds but nothing happened. I tried it with Volume-Up + Home + Start button, too.

  • Afterwards choose from menu Settings and tap Back up and reset
  • Then choose Factory data reset and select Reset phone.
  • Confirm all informations, and wait until your phone will reset and reboot itself.

I can not access any screen. There's just the Huawei Logo. I tried the hard reset multiple times in many different ways.
Expert:  Mr.Med replied 6 months ago.

Please turn the phone off, remove the battery then press/hold down volume down and power button and try hard reset again, let me know the results

Thank you

Unfortunately, nothing changed. It doesnt display anything but the Huawei Logo. When I connect it to the power cable, it turns on immediately, displaying the logo all the time.

Can you try Hard reset while you charging the phone please

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
No, because I can't switch off the phone when the charger is plugged in. I can only remove the battery to switch it off. As soon as I plug it in, it starts without pressing any button. Without the battery it's just dead.
Expert:  Mr.Med replied 6 months ago.

Press and hold all the 3 buttons (volume up, down and power) at the same time, wait a few seconds, the phone should turn itself off and you can then restart it.

Hope it works out, if the problem persists please reply back to me

Thank you

It still doesn't turn off, no reaction.
Expert:  Mr.Med replied 6 months ago.
  1. Have your battery fully charged. (Important)
  2. Turn off your Huawei phone.
  3. Remove the battery and way a 20 second.
    • In the mean time you can eventually remove your SD card so that you can be sure nothing will be deleted on it.
  4. Plug it in again.
  5. Press and hold both Volume up + Power button at the same time.
  6. Use volume Up and Down to navigate and select "Factory reset".
  7. Validate with power button.
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Okay, I will wait a few hours to make sure it's fully charged. I remember that it was low when I switched it off for the first time.
