I'm not certain which button along the front of my i320

Customer Question

I'm not certain which button along the front of my i320 scanner lets me scan visuals instead of scanning text, as it seems to continue doing. I never knowingly set the scanner to do that.
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: It is a computer that I have used for many years successfully. It is a Dell 1000 laptop.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Not on that computer
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: That computer is not connected to the internet, but I have 3 others that are or can be, including this one.

Hi, I’m Louie. Sorry you had to wait awhile but I’ll do my best to help.

Initially and in most versions; to change from scanning/text conversion to picture/image format, disengage from Optical Character Recognition (OCR) mode by pressing the OCR button to turn off this feature allowing scan/save as image/jpg format.
