I haven't used my Kindle 4.1.1 for a few years now. I do have kindle on my iPhone however.
I decided to
get the kindle reader out and download a kindle version book today.
However I can not get my kindle to connect to my Wi-Fi after 4 attempts and restart.
I've triple checked the the Wi-Fi name and password
FAQ says to make sure its connected to internet and the accounts are the same
the send to address on my iPhone says to send to wkagarisejr***@******.***, from where I have no idea how that was generated
my amazon account email is different
I did order a kindle book today and checking via my pc, it states the order is processing.
Can you provide any info to solve this ?

Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist. Amazon creates those

addresses. Those are normal. The controlling email address is the address and password ***** use to log in to your Amazon account. You may be best off doing a reset of the reader, connecting to wi-fi and re-activating the reader.

All of your purchases will then be downloaded to the device.

Hold or slide and hold the power button for 45 seconds and restart the device.

In the passphrase field enter:###-##-####or "resetmykindle" without the quotes.

Since I'm not sure of your model number, try both of those options.

After resetting the device, if you're still having trouble getting it connected, remove the power

from your router for 60 seconds, plug it back in and give it a couple of minutes to fully start up and

then try to connect the Kindle again.

I have actually reset and restarted 4 times now
tried your suggestion on holding power button for 45 seconds and restarting to no avail

Is your Windows 10 computer wireless or is it connected to your router with a network cable?
