i did an update on my Lenovo C40/50 computer and now it doesn't recognize my pin number and I get use it. how do I unlock the computer

On your login screen if you click Sign in Options and click the icon that is not a keypad you'll be prompted for your password.

No the password ***** pin we chose when we set the computer up will work and there's no other option. I did an update for windows 10 and have not been able to use the computer since

body of the email. Please send me that code as soon as you receive it. Please don't enter it into the computer.

The password ***** was successful according to Microsoft. The new password ***** log in to the computer is: 87alpha88

But there's a new wrinkle. When I try to verify the password ***** get this from Microsoft (see attachment)

On your laptop, click the Power icon in the lower right corner (far right) and restart the computer.

When it comes back the login screen, verify it has an internet connection by opening

the wi-fi/network icon in the lower right corner of the screen (the leftmost of the 3 icons)

and try the new password. I don't know if these Microsoft issues will prevent your logging in.
