JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: I'm working in 7.1 and have a file that I've been working on …no crash or error message, but now when I try and reopen the file I get the bug reporter … it starts to gather system information … then the application closes?
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I'm running on a 15" Macbook Pro …10.8.5
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No updates since I've been working on this project. Other projects open normally.

Or you cannot open any files at all in Quark?

thanks, ***** ***** try to reset the quark preferences.

Can you close all programs

then click on finder, then click on Go to folder

Enter in

~/library

Then press enter

Then go to preferences

Trash the Quark folder there

Restart the mac and tell me if you can now open it please
