JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your laptop, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: x260, running office 365
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no brand new laptop
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have the thinkpad in the docking station and I am using 2 HP E271i monitors. I simply just need to sync my new laptop with the monitors. my X260 is currently in the docking station but the mouse and both monitors are not currently working with are plugged into the docking station.

Do you know the full name brand and model of the dock you have? Is it an intel wireless dock? If so,

First, you need to install the Intel dock manager from this page.

http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-x260/downloads/ds112546

Download, open install, and then run the dock manager.

Inside the dock manager you should then be able to add and configure the monitors.

If you get stuck or run into any issues let me know.

I strive to provide great service, and greatly appreciate a 5 star rating clicked and submitted when you are satisfied.. I always answer follow up questions.

I'm not sure what kind of dock it is, it just says Lenovo thinkpad on the dock.

Ok, we need to download and install the lenovo dock software from here.

https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/options/software_package_v807780.exe

Once downloaded, open and install it. Once installed, restart your lenovo.

Then, we shold be able to use the windows key and P to extend your desktop, or go into the dock manager and add the displays. If you get stuck or run into any issues, let me know.

Or, I can connect and work through these issues for you directly on screen.
