Good, thanks for the response and the information. Try the following, please, if you have a Windows computer:
go to Control Panel
System and Security
Advanced tab (or Advanced link - depending on your Windows version.)
in Performance section, click on Settings
then go to the Data Execution Prevention tab or section
then click on "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"
and click on OK until that closes, to save the changed setting.
Then, restart your Windows computer.
After it is restarted, try starting Paperport 14 again.
