Welcome to Justanswer.com, my name is Dustin.I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are having, I will do my best to help you resolve it.
what is the full name brand and model of your computer?
Also, when is the last time it would boot correctly and did you carry out any repairs or upgrades lately?
Understood, please ignore the secure remote offer for now, its an automated popup and shouldnt show up again if you declined it.
Allright, when you get to the aptio setup utility.. It should have a key or a section where it says " load defaults and exit " have you tried that?
Did you choose load defaults and exit?
If so, did the computer restart? Please be clear as I cant see whats happening and these steps and the next ones are important and we both need to be precise..
Now, check the boot section.. What boot devices does it list by name exactly?
And you are certain this is Windows 7?
All right, where it says fast boot, disable that..
Where it says launch csm , enable that.
Then, save settings and exit .. Does it go straight back to the aptio setup utility?
Lets still disable fast boot then.
And then, on the same boot page select boot option priorities, hit enter..
And tell me what options we see listed and in what order.
The arrow keys wont let you highlight it?
if so, hit enter.. Or look on the screen as it might define the key you use to edit the boot options..
Allright.. It may not be showing any boot options, if your hard drive isnt working.
let me ask you this, if you go to delete boot options instead.. What options does it show to delete?
Also, if you look through every screen do you see something that mentions Legacy mode or UEFI ?
Ok, most likely.. Your hard drive has either slipped loose, or failed..
many times, we can get it to work again if we remove the hard drive, and then reinstall the hard drive.. So follow this video as far as the point where they remove the hard drive..
With the hard drive, and power cord removed.. Press and hold power for one minute solid.
Then, blow out the harddrive connectors on the motherboard and the hard drive itself with compressed air..
Then, install the hard drive and then try to boot the computer.. What happens then?
Take your time.. If you have any questions, let me know.
When you get a chance, let me know if you had any luck with the hard drive removal .
