I just downloaded the "remind me" for one of my classes.
When I then opened Amazon apps to download another app, the Amazon App screen kept on sliding to the left and blinking on and off.
What should I do?

Your firmware may be glitched. Please Try to reset your Kindle by sliding and holding the power switch for 25 seconds. If you have the newest model, it has a push button. Press it and hold it for 25 seconds. Your Kindle device should reload within 4 minutes. If the Amazon apps still malfunctions, please let me know.

Please follow the steps below :

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > Settings > Apps.
  2. From the All tab, locate then tap Amazon app.
    If necessary, swipe left or right to switch tabs.
  3. Tap Clear cache.
    This option may not be available.

Now Clear All Cached Data

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > Settings > Storage.
  2. Tap Cached data.
  3. From the Clear cached data? prompt, tap OK.
  4. Restart your smartphone and test

I have phone numbers, email addresses etc. I don't know what else. I do have backup.

You will need t do a factory data reset, this will Wipe/erase all your Data (Phone numbers, pictures, documents ect....so make sure you have a backup :

  1. Ensure the motorola phone is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Down button for 3 seconds. While still holding the Volume Down button, press and release the Power button.
  3. Select Recovery mode.
    Utilize the Volume buttons to scroll through the menu options and the Power button to select.
  4. From the "No command" screen, press and hold the Power button then press and release the Volume Up button to display the menu options.
  5. Select wipe data/factory reset.
    Utilize the Volume buttons to highlight and the Power button to select.
  6. Select Yes -- delete all user data.
    Allow several seconds for the factory data reset process to complete.
  7. Select reboot system now.
