Missing a mail folder, Yahoo account if I go into the

Missing a mail folder, Yahoo account if I go into the filters section it shows that it is there but not in my list of folders when looking at my in box
JA: How long have you had this issue with your Yahoo account?
Customer: I just noticed it a few days ago.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: I think I did a week or so ago.. can

How are you accessing Yahoo? Through the desktop program or thru a browser or email client?

It is a filter folder created in Yahoo I do not use mac mail.

I am still not exactly clear what you mean? What is a filter folder?

I believe you mean this:

A filter moves the messages to another folder on the site, e.g. a custom folder that you have created

Do you want to try to take filters off to 'show' the folder? Or you can 'tweak' it in editing:

Create filters

A new filter only impacts future emails you receive, not existing ones already in your account.

  1. Mouse over the Settings icon | select Settings.
  2. Click Filters
  3. Click Add.
  4. Enter a Filter Name.
  5. Enter the filter criteria.
  6. Select a folder to deliver the affected emails to or select New Folder to create a new one.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Save again to return to your emails.

Edit filters

Modify your existing filter settings:

  1. Mouse over the Settings icon | select Settings.
  2. Click a filter name from your list.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Make your changes and click Save.
  5. Click Save again to return to your email.

The order of your filters matters:

  • Filters are prioritized from the top down.
  • If two filters can apply to the same email, the top filter will be used.
  • Move filters up or down by selecting the filter and clicking the up or down arrow.

Delete filters

Remove a filter:

  1. Mouse over the Settings icon | select Settings.
  2. Click a filter from your list.
  3. Click Remove.
  4. Click Save to return to your email.

I do not want to do it by remote. Yes, I have created several custom folders that filter my incoming mail. When I want to read this mail I go to one of the folders and there it is. However one folder is not showing up. If I go into settings filters it shows the missing folder along with others I have created. But when I go back to the mail home page. It is not there.

I just tried and now Yahoo says it doesn't recognize my email and therefore I can't sign in...very odd will keep trying

New browser didn't make a difference but I just figured out the issue. The filter was intact but the folder had been somehow deleted and the filter inserted "in box" where the folder should have been. I had to create a new folder. My fault for not looking closely at the filter instructions.I am happy with the response although the web interface, for the site, is very annoying. Since I figured it out can I go with a partial payment?
