I can't get on the inetenet on my home computer
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your machine, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: pavillion 23
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: no I rebooted back to factory settings
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Im at work right now it's my home computer that won't work

And how are you connecting to the internet? Via wireless or cable?

Press the windows key + R and type in

ncpa.cpl

press enter

Does it show there your wireless connection as connected?

I'm not at home right now so I can't work on it

But my wirelee shows up as if I'm connected

ok.. when you are at home, right click on it and select Disable.

Then restart the Laptop, right click it again and select Enable.

Once done then test if you have internet.

If not, then remove the power to the wireless router, wait 5 minutes, then connect the power, restart and see if you now get connected.
