Hello, and Thank You for choosing JustAnswer.comMy name is ***** ***** I am reviewing your question now, please stand by for 1 or 2 minute for reply.
Are you talking about the 3 digit number on the back of the Credit Card?
Then no.....that number is ***** used on ALL credit/Debit card transactions that are NOT swiped.
its a Security measure.
If you can swipe the card.....then your fine......but if your entering in the info into a computer......a CVV is ALWAYS required since the Federal law was enacted.
well, some websites are not PCI compliant (credit card compliant) which means they might take it.
They might also not sne dyou what you bought either. They are nefarious.
If they are PCI compliant, a CVV is required.
All major, and even most minor retailors are PCI compliant, they have to be to, to operate in the USA.
I cant recommend any......they are what are refered to as DARK websites
you need special browser and VPN software to even access them.
you tread there at your own peril.
i wont recommend.....thats why.
You are welcome.
