After downgrading back to windows 7 from windows 10, Citrix

Customer Question

after downgrading back to windows 7 from windows 10, Citrix receiver didn't work. After removing it and attempting to re-installing it, I received the error "The older version of Online plug-in cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of your computer? What version of Windows are you running?
Customer: Asus n53j, Windows 7 (just uninstalled win 10)
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I uninstalled Citrix Receiver, then used "MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab" to uninstall several parts that would not uninstall. I then attempted to re-install the program when this occurred.
JA: The computer expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: I am on vacation, unfortunately.
