Hello. My name is***** to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply momentarily.

Can you tell me what problems you are having with drop box in particular?

In order to help you, I need to know what operating system you have on your device. Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8.1, 10, or do you have a Mac?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Windows 8.1I saved some files to Dropbox but when I opened Dropbox they weren't there. I did a search for those files and they are in Dropbox. I fear I may have two user names? Not sure
Expert:  Isaac Franklin replied 2 months ago.

When you go here:

Do you have a name saved? (my email auto-populates there when i sign into mine) You can have more than one login/acct.

Is it the one you usually use? And also, do you remember another email you may have used to log in?

Are you a business owner/account set up?

Only Dropbox Business users will be able have multiple Dropbox accounts synced to a single device. If you don’t have a Dropbox Business account, you can access a second Dropbox account by signing in as another user through the Dropbox website. Or you can share files between multiple accounts by creating shared folders.
