Why does my Wi-Fi jump back and forth between 2.4 GHz and 5.GHz. and is it making my computer slow? I have Comcast infinity connections.

Hello, welcome.

If you are in an area where there is no DSL / Cable internet, you might be getting internet over a wireless connection which runs over 2.4 ghz normally and on 5 ghz when the other doesn't work.

Your wireless settings might be conflicting causing it to switch over.
